You are a fan of podcasts, what are some favorites?
I love Design Matters with Debbie Millman, 99% Invisible, Subject Matters, and Longer Tables with Jose Andres, among others.
What do you like to collect?
I adore snail mail. My husband and I are passionate about traveling, and the souvenir I always bring back is a selection of postcards.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I enjoy off-the-cuff cooking – using random items from the refrigerator to create a delicious meal for me and my husband.
What is your favorite thing to draw?
I love drawing citrus. My obsession started when I painted large-scale fruit on chalkboards for Whole Foods while I was a sign maker. I find citrus beautiful to paint and the fruit is essential in my cooking.
Dogs or cats?
Cats! I have two precious gray tabbies named Murf and Otis. They are silly, snuggly, and always bring me joy.
What is your favorite food?
Pizza! Growing up, my family made homemade pizza on Friday nights, and I have continued this tradition with my husband. I make the dough from scratch and continue to perfect the pizza each week.
