Wain’s World welcomes the brilliant and intuitive Karolina Sato, artist, illustrator, and surface print designer, to our community. From the moment Karolina contacted us, we sensed a synchronicity. Born and raised in Poland, the Japanologist has called Tokyo home for over 20 years. In addition to her artistic talents, she and her husband founded an extraordinary creative agency specializing in experiential designs and future solutions for luxury brands. Throughout the year, Karolina delights in touring the seasonal landscapes throughout Japan, including plum blossoms in winter, the revered cherry blossoms in spring, and the fragrant osmanthus, bold chrysanthemums, and red maple leaves in autumn.

Wain’s World welcomes Katherine Herrell, an artist who truly radiates creativity and joy. Soon after meeting on Instagram, Liz and Katherine began collaborating. Prior to launching her own studio, Katherine honed her skills by working for over a decade as in-house artist and product designer with several well-known manufacturers. Her fresh sensibility and folky florals grace children’s clothing, home décor, and giftware. She loves spending time with her daughters, reading, and sipping lavender tea with honey.
